　　命題點1基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞的變化

　　基數(shù)詞變序數(shù)詞要遵循以下原則：

　　1. 一般來說，序數(shù)詞是由相應(yīng)的基數(shù)詞詞尾加�瞭h構(gòu)成。

　　2. 十位整數(shù)序數(shù)詞的構(gòu)成方法是將y變?yōu)閕，再加e t h。

　　3. 兩位或兩位以上的基數(shù)詞變成序數(shù)詞時，僅將個位數(shù)變成序數(shù)詞。

　　此外，�？嫉幕鶖�(shù)詞、序數(shù)詞一般會在100以內(nèi)，具體見下表。

　　one—first two—second three—third four—fourth five—fifth six—sixth seven—seventh eight—eighth nine—ninth ten—tenth eleven—eleventh twelve—twelfth thirteen—

　　thirteenth fourteen—fourteenth fifteen—fifteenth sixteen—sixteenth seventeen—seventeenth eighteen—eighteenth nineteen—nineteenth twenty—twentieth thirty—thirtiethforty—fortiethfifty—fiftiethsixty—sixtiethseventy—

　　seventieth eighty—eightieth ninety—ninetieth基數(shù)詞變序數(shù)詞口訣

　　基變序，有規(guī)律，末尾加上th;

　　一二三，特殊記，八加h,九去e,ve要用f替，

　　以y結(jié)尾變ie,后跟th莫忘記;

　　若想表示幾十幾，只變個位就可以。

　　命題點2基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞的用法

　　1.序數(shù)詞前必須加the。如：

　　The second is what I really need.第二個是我真正需要的。

　　2.序數(shù)詞前若有限定詞，則可以不用加the。如：

　　It is my third time to visit Beijing. 這是我第三次參觀北京。

　　3.序數(shù)詞前面也可以加不定冠詞a或an，表示“又一,再”，內(nèi)含順序性。如：

　　We�餳ave tried it three times. Must we try it a fourth time? 我們已經(jīng)試過三遍了。還必須再試一次(第四次)嗎?

　　命題點3年齡、長、寬、高、面積等的表示方法

　　基數(shù)詞加量詞(meter(s)/kilometer(s)/kilo(s)/year(s)/...)加形容詞(long/wide/high/deep)。如：

　　three years old 三歲大;two meters tall 兩米高;ten meters long 十米長

　　命題點4 hundred, thousand, million與billion的用法

　　1. hundred, thousand, million, billion表示具體數(shù)目時用單數(shù)，在表示“數(shù)百”“數(shù)千”“數(shù)百萬”“數(shù)十億”等不確定的數(shù)目時，用“hundreds of/thousands of/millions of/billions of+可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)”表示。與of 連用時，要用復(fù)數(shù)形式，但前面不能再加數(shù)字。如：

　　thousands of factories 成千上萬家工廠

　　2. 與具體的數(shù)字one, two...或several, some, many等詞連用時，要用單數(shù)形式。如：

　　five hundred people 500人

　　two thousand books 兩千本書

　　many million trees 幾百萬棵樹

　　命題點5年份、日期與編號的表示法

　　1. 年份、日期、編號的表達(dá)

　　◆年份、日期表示法

　　通常英式英語表達(dá)為“日、月、年”，而美式英語表達(dá)為“月、日、年”。一般年份用基數(shù)詞，日期用序數(shù)詞(可簡寫)，月份用月份名稱，年份后面不用year(年)。如：on August 8th, 2012在2012年8月8日

　　◆編號表示法

　　名詞加基數(shù)詞等于the加序數(shù)詞加名詞。如：

　　第一課Lesson One等于the first lesson;第二頁Page Two等于the second page;2路公車Bus number 2 或the number 2 bus。有時可以直接用數(shù)字來表示。如：

　　Room two o six, Class two， Grade one...(注意：使用時要注意大小寫)

　　2. 年份、日期、時間的讀法

　　◆年份：四位數(shù)通常分兩組來讀。如：

　　1999讀作：nineteen ninety�瞡ine

　　◆日期：用序數(shù)詞來表示。如：

　　November 3rd讀作：November the third

　　◆時間：時間的讀法有以下方法：

　　一般直接按照表示時間的數(shù)字來讀。另外英語中的15分鐘也可以說成a quarter,如：

　　8:30讀作：eight thirty

　　4:15讀作:a quarter past four

　　命題點6其他重要表達(dá)方式：

　　1. half an hour半小時

　　2. one and a half hoursd等于one hour and a half一個半小時

　　3. in one’s thirties在某人30多歲(區(qū)別：in the thirties在30年代)

　　4. an eight�瞴ear�瞣ld boy一個八歲的男孩

　　5. a 100�瞞eter�瞝ong bridge一座100米長的橋

　　6. a ten�瞞inute walk等于ten minutes' walk步行10分鐘的路程

　　7. two more hours等于another two hours再多兩個小時
