　　Dear editor,

　　I am writing to inform you of my unhappy experience lately. On June 5th, I went to buy an Oxford English Dictionary for Advanced Learners at the Friendship Foreign Bookstore. Unfortunately, when I went home, I was astonished to find that several pages were stained, some were folded, and a few more were even missing.

　　To resolve the problem, I immediately went back to the bookstore and managed to find the same shop assistant. I made great efforts to meet the manager in person, only to be told it was not their fault.

　　I believe that it is more than necessary for the whole tertiary industry to improve the service quality. The law in China protecting the rights of the consumers requires you to supply goods of satisfactory quality. I consider you are responsible for my loss. I look forward to hearing from you to deal with this as soon as possible.
