　　1. Square 方形(最簡(jiǎn)單的)

　　短語：to be a square peg in a round hole

　　方形的釘子插在圓形的孔里，指格格不入

　　例句： His appearance here is like a square peg in a round hole.

　　他在這里出現(xiàn)，顯得有些格格不入。

　　那square還有其他很美的意思如：

　　be there, or be square(一定要來，不見不散)-----通常是一種玩笑性質(zhì)的施壓，像是說，晚上party要來哦，誰不來誰是孫子。

　　call sth square/square accounts(雙方扯平、互不相欠)

　　例句： He deliberately insulted me but I'll square accounts with him one day.

　　他故意侮辱我，但總有一天我會(huì)跟他算賬的。

　　3)to be fair and square公平對(duì)待每個(gè)人

　　例句：I ask no odds, I just want you to be fair and square.
