　　10月11日，三星在官方網(wǎng)站上發(fā)表聲明，要求所有合作伙伴停止銷售和置換Galaxy Note 7手機(jī)。聲明中還進(jìn)一步要求Note7用戶關(guān)機(jī)，停止使用，包括持原裝手機(jī)以及近期已完成更換的用戶。

　　Samsung has urged owners of the Galaxy Note 7 to turn off the smartphone while it investigates new reports of the device catching fire.

　　The South Korean firm also said it would stop all sales of the phone.

　　Samsung recalled 2.5m phones in September after complaints of exploding batteries and later assured customers that all replaced devices were safe.

　　But there are now reports that even those phones that had been replaced were catching fire.

　　電池爆炸 exploding batteries

　　最近幾年，智能手機(jī)市場(chǎng)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)激烈。各個(gè)制造商都在手機(jī)電池方面進(jìn)行“軍備競(jìng)賽”(arms race)，追求更小的電池，更長(zhǎng)時(shí)間的續(xù)航能力，以及更短的充電時(shí)間。

　　據(jù)分析人士稱，三星這款手機(jī)之所以會(huì)發(fā)生爆炸，就是因?yàn)殡姵氐恼��?fù)極接觸導(dǎo)致短路(negative and positive electrodes coming together have caused short circuits)，手機(jī)過熱，從而引發(fā)手機(jī)起火和爆炸。

　　召回 recall

　　三星Note7手機(jī)起火爆炸事件之后，公司在全球召回了250萬臺(tái)。其中有75%更換了新的Note7手機(jī)或者其他機(jī)型( replaced with either a Note 7 or another Samsung handset)。

　　停售 stopping all sales

　　召回并更換后的Note7手機(jī)仍然發(fā)生了多起起火爆炸事故，三星公司發(fā)布聲明，全面停售該款手機(jī)，并要求用戶在調(diào)查起火原因期間關(guān)閉手機(jī)(turn off the smartphone while it investigates new reports of the device catching fire)。
