雅思口語：A day off

　　今天的這個(gè)題目有難度~

　　Describe something you would like to do if you were given a day off.

　　You should say:

　　What you would like to do

　　Who would you like to be with

　　Where you would like to do it

　　and explain how you would feel at the end of the day

　　此題有坑!

　　問題顯然是對(duì)將來的設(shè)想

　　所以回答的語態(tài)也應(yīng)該與其對(duì)應(yīng)

　　而對(duì)于topic本身

　　回答的內(nèi)容就比較廣泛啦

　　可以是短暫的旅行

　　和朋友的聚會(huì)

　　甚至是一些平時(shí)沒時(shí)間做的休閑活動(dòng)都可以

　　解析：題目問的是休假一天你將怎么度過。這道題已經(jīng)不是新題了，在2012-2013年的時(shí)候就考過一樣的題目。然而這個(gè)題目一直被認(rèn)為是相對(duì)難答的題目之一。

　　需要注意的是這道題的問法有玄機(jī)，問的是如果你有一天你休假，你計(jì)劃將怎么度過。這顯然是一個(gè)對(duì)將來的虛擬，大家在回答這道題的時(shí)候就要格外小心語態(tài)的問題，重要的事情再強(qiáng)調(diào)一遍，問題中的語態(tài)和時(shí)態(tài)對(duì)應(yīng)的就應(yīng)該是我們回答的時(shí)候的語態(tài)和時(shí)態(tài)!所以對(duì)于這個(gè)題，我們通常會(huì)用到…. I would like to....; I guess I probably would…; 或者干脆就 I plan to…都可以。

　　那么對(duì)于這個(gè)topic本身，我們可以回答的內(nèi)容相對(duì)是比較廣泛的，怎么度過一天，你可以說有一個(gè)非常短的旅行short trip; 可以說跟朋友聚會(huì)friend-gathering, I would like to hang out and have a blast with friends; 可以說跟家人在一起享受天倫之樂，enjoy quality time with family; 可以說去做一些平時(shí)想做但是沒時(shí)間做的休閑娛樂活動(dòng)，愛好之類的，I would like to lie in the sofa, reading a novel with a cup of coffee in my hand, which I guess might be the best choice for me. 那么接下來2個(gè)小題，who to be with and where to go就比較簡單啦，根據(jù)你選的想做的是做人物和地點(diǎn)的設(shè)定就OK了，friends/ besties/ family…; 最后一題，how would you like to feel, 依然是對(duì)將來的虛擬，讓大家設(shè)想你這樣度過一天之后的感受，大家不妨可以跟常規(guī)題目的最后一題做一個(gè)借鑒，通常情況下常規(guī)的題目最后一問問的是and explain why you enjoy it， 針對(duì)今天的這題目的最后一問，我們也可以說理由嘛，I assume that would be perfect for me to spend my day off, even if just for one day, in that way, because we are now so preoccupied by other chores at work and at home. If I could spend a day like that with people whom I care about that would be really precious and meaningful.

　　Tip：如果大家屬于比較懶的那一型，不喜歡重新構(gòu)架story-telling 的部分，大家不妨可以合并相似話題，例如最近�？嫉脑掝}里面有l(wèi)ong walk，a journey by car, an educational trip, a happy family event 等等都可以作為這個(gè)題目的素材，大家不妨把之前已經(jīng)準(zhǔn)備過的如上題目進(jìn)行一個(gè)改寫，注意時(shí)態(tài)的使用就OK了。

　　In this highly competitive modern society, people are struggling to earn a good living or move up the ladder, which means we are so preoccupied with substantial volume of work and have less and less time to spend in our own way. I assume if people could be given one day off, they would like to spend that day in various ways. But to me, I probably won’t choose to hit the road and have a trip or to hang out with friends like many others might do. I suppose if I really think about that, I would have a much more meaningful and productive day off.

　　Since I graduated from the university, I have been working hard and spent most of my time at workplace, and sometimes I even deal with the tasks at home which left me little time to spend with my family. I think it is time to have a change of my heart and get my priority right. So ideally I would like to fulfill the promise I made to my parents and enjoy that day with them. My dad has been always wanted me to go fishing with him and my mom wanted me to help her with the gardening. As I was the one being taken good care of, I hope I can give them some feedback. If I were given a day off, I would get up early and prepare breakfast for my parents, leaving a note on the table and telling them how grateful I am to their care. When I return home after jogging, I plan to clean the garden for my mom and pick up some flowers for her. Maybe then I would just stay at home with then, watch a movie or read some books, just be laid back and enjoy the time.

　　I think that is the way I would like to spend my day off, meaningful and productive.
