Failure Is the Mother of Success
The proverb “Sometimes you have to fall before you can fly” conveys such a moral that failure comes first, followed by success, namely, failure is the mother of success. This rule holds true for many cases in our life. When someone does something, he often fails before he can overcome obstacles and then move forward. Just think of the story of the great inventor Thomas Edison. He failed 10,000 times before he invented the electric light. The voluminous personal papers of Edison revealed that his inventions typically did not spring to life in a flash of inspiration but evolved slowly from previous works. It is believed that sometimes a series of apparent failures are really followed by successes.
In the long journey of life,we will inevitably encounter all kinds of difficulties and obstacles. We should have a doom unbeatable faith and determined will and be not afraid of falling in order to climb to the peak. Please remember if we want to fly freely in the sky of success, we have to fall first.

The Way to Success First essay—stream of thought type
大學(xué)英語六級(jí)考試寫作范文
The Way to Success
"Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration." And here comes our question, what is the way to success?
A strong will and great efforts are the most essential two keys to the door of success.
Why do people fail to achieve their goal? The reason is that most of them give up halfway due to their lack of a strong will once they encounter any difficulty. A man of a strong will always sticks to his cause no matter how tough it might be.
Would Thomas Edison be such a great man in history if he had done nothing but possessing a strong will? We are all familiar with his story that he had tried one thousand kinds of materials before he finally made his great bulb light up. Without hard effort, Edison might have been a nobody. Without efforts, no one can succeed.
To sum up, a strong will and great efforts can help one open up the way to success. Where there is a will with efforts, there is a way.

Opportunity and Success
1、有人說機(jī)會(huì)對(duì)取得成功起重要作用
2、也有人說智慧和勤奮才是通向成功的唯一途徑
3、我的看法
大學(xué)英語六級(jí)考試寫作
Some deem that opportunity is the key tosuccess. For example, those global business giantslike Google owe their success to the hugeopportunities they meet. Google's boom benefitsfrom the frenzy of Internet. Another strikingexample is Zhang Liangying's overnight sensation.Super Girl Voice Contest, a golden opportunity forher, put the spotlight on her.
Others argue that intelligence and diligence outweigh opportunity. There is solely aGoogle around the planet. The Internet superpower gains from its co-founders' advancedtechnology and keen insight into the global internet market. Zhang Liangying demonstratedher distinguished talent and the very wide vocal range. For this reason, she left an favorableimpression with judges and won a host of diehard fans.
In my eyes, success is strongly linked with both. The combination of these twofactorsbreeds success. There are enormous opportunities beckoning us. We must seize themand exert our all-out intelligence and ability.
