　　On Food Safety

　　Over the past couple of years, several cases of the food scandal have been disclosed on various media. The problem of food safety has become a hot button across society.

　　There are a couple of reasons accounting for this phenomenon. To begin with, economic driving force behind this undesirable tide is an obvious factor. Furthermore, the neglect of moral education gives rise to the rising rate of the problem. More importantly, the lack of adequate regulation and punishment on those illegal producers enforces the trend.

　　As the saying goes, it is better late than never. In my opinion, prompt and strict measures should be taken to turn back this evil trend. The government should launch a massive moral campaign to educate all citizens and draw up tougher laws to crack down those irresponsible corporations and prohibit them from entering the food industry again. I am firmly convinced that through our combined efforts we are bound to enjoy more risk-free foods in the future.

　　在過(guò)去幾年里，一些關(guān)于食品安全的丑聞?lì)l頻在各種媒體中曝光。食品安全問(wèn)題已經(jīng)成為全社會(huì)關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn)。造成這個(gè)現(xiàn)象的原因有幾個(gè)。首先，在這不良趨勢(shì)的背后，利益驅(qū)動(dòng)力的存在是一個(gè)明顯的因素。另外，道德教育的忽視導(dǎo)致了該問(wèn)題的加劇。更重要的是，對(duì)這種非法生產(chǎn)商缺乏足夠的監(jiān)管和懲罰，也促使了這種不良趨勢(shì)的蔓延。
