j常見(jiàn)動(dòng)詞詞組為固定短語(yǔ),不可隨意變更,如keep in mind,grow up,call off等。
k thus, thereby等副詞后常跟動(dòng)詞-ing形式。
lconsidering,regarding,concerning可作介詞,其后接名詞或動(dòng)名詞作介詞賓語(yǔ)
m連詞and連接的并列動(dòng)詞為平行結(jié)構(gòu),或同為不定式,或同為分詞形式。
例1:This tendency of technology to make workers superfluous but at the same time allowing their number to grow up so large is creating psychological tensions. (98/1, No.78)
