介詞短語就是由多個詞構(gòu)成的介詞，如because of，in spite of等；固定搭配則指習(xí)語和一些常見的固定用法，即由名詞、形容詞、動詞等和介詞或者副詞構(gòu)成的短語，如influence on, different from, rely on 等。無論是介詞短語還是固定搭配，考點常常對準(zhǔn)介詞，出現(xiàn)介詞誤用的情況；除此之外，對固定搭配的考查也常常涉及搭配中的冠詞和名詞單復(fù)數(shù)等問題，如將in contrast誤用為in the contrast，keep one’s words誤用為keep one’s word等等。

解析：分析句子的結(jié)構(gòu)可知，because of 后面是一個完整的句子。當(dāng)表示原因時because of 后跟名詞，because 后跟句子，所以此處的of應(yīng)該去掉。

解析：keep up意為“堅持，維持”；keep表示“保持”，可以在后面加賓語及其補足語。

解析：此處考查固定搭配do harm to，意為“對…有害”，所以此處的gives應(yīng)改為does。
