　　China Securities Regulatory Commission, a ministerial agency directly under the State Council, is mandated to regulate national securities and futures markets, and ensure their orderly and lawful operations. Headquartered in Beijing, it has one chairman, four vice chairmen, one secretary for Party discipline , three assistant chairmen as well as 18 functional departments, one inspection division and three centers. It is a statutory authority with regulatory mandates conferred by the government.
