　　Lang Xianping, born in 1956 in Taoyuan County, Taiwan Province, is a Taiwanese economist. He serves as the top academic (chief) professor in the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a focus on company governance. From 2001, he began to focus on the property right reform of the large state-owned enterprises in China. In 2003, he was included in the list of celebrities among the world economists. He is generally regarded as a famous scholar in world finance.
