　　Records of Western World in Great Tang Dynasty, also known as Records of Western World with a total of 12 volumes, was finished orally by Xuan Zang and recorded by Bian Ji. It recorded the conditions of 138 towns, regions and countries that Xuan Zang passed on the way to seeking Buddhist classics, including details of territory, climate, folk custom, language, religion, Buddhist temples and a lot of historical legends and mythical stories.
