　　“Wolf dad” is a nickname given to Hong Kong businessman, Xiao Baiyou. His three kids were all accepted into the elite Peking University as a result of his punitive approach to parenting. He published the book Therefore, Peking University Siblings to introduce his parenting techniques. His nickname follows Amy Chua’s notoriety as a “tiger mom”. Amy Chua is a Chinese-American professor at Yale University in America and published the book The Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother. This book created a huge sensation in America and covered the strict Chinese way that she raised her two daughters. She scolded them, forbade them to watch TV, did not allow them to eat if they hadn’t practiced their instruments well, and so on. This strict style of punishment parenting is very controversial.
