　　History of the Jin Dynasty

　　The History of the Jin Dynasty, one of the 24 histories, is a biographic history of dynasties created in the Tang Dynasty. Consisting of 130 volumes in total, it was collectively compiled by 21 writers including Fang Xuanling. It records the history from the first year of Taishi (262) to the second year of Yuanxi, Emperor Gongdi of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (419) when Liu Yu dethroned the emperor to replace the Jin Dynasty with the Song Dynasty. In the form of record, this book meanwhile recorded the conditions of the regimes of the 16 states and contains important data to learn about and studies the society of the Western and Eastern Jin Dynasties.
