　　The Chime-bells from the Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State are cultural relics from the early Warring States Period. They were unearthed in Sui County (Suizhou City today), Hubei Province in 1978, and are the first batch of cultural relics forbidden to be exhibited overseas. They are a huge musical instrument comprised of 65 bronze chime bells, whose range of voice spans 5 semi-eight degrees with complete 12 semitones. Their excellent casting technology and good musical performance changed the world history of music. They are known as a “rare treasure” by the experts and scholars at home and abroad.
