　　The Eighth Route Army Office was set up under the leadership of the Communist Party China in some of the major cities in the Kuomintang areas during the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. After the outbreak of the War, the Communist Party and Kuomingtang reached an agreement that re-designated the main force of the China Red Army into the Eighth Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army and set up offices in some major cities in the Kuomintang ruled areas.
