　　Located in Anhui Province, the Huangshan mountain range boasts an area of 1,200 square kilometers and a core scenic area of roughly 160.6 square kilometers. The main area is composed of granite and has 72 peaks—amongst which the main peak, Lotus Peak, has an altitude of 1,864m. The key scenic spots boast four unique features—strange pine trees, queer stones, cloudy waters and hot springs, and three waterfalls—Herringbone Fall, Baizhang Spring, and Jiulong Fall. It is a national park and one of the 10 most famous mountains of China.
