　　Baocheng Railway (also called Baoji-Chengdu Railway) stretches from Baoji, Shanxi Province to Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Its total length is 669 kilometers. Baocheng Line is the main railway connecting northwestern and southwestern China, and was its first electric railway. Numerous mountains and rivers can be found along the railway. It passes over Qin, Daba, and Jianmeng Mountains, crosses four rivers, and slopes up to a maximum of 33‰. The line includes 304 tunnels and 1,001 bridges. Construction of this railway was extremely difficult, but the scenery offered is extremely beautiful.
