　　Yunnan Museum is a comprehensive museum built in 1951. It is divided into 9 divisions, namely: Department of Preservation responsible for the collection and protection of objects; Department of Social Education responsible for the introduction and publicity of the exhibition of museum to the public; Station of Verification in charge of the cultural relics verification and collection; and departments in charge of editing and publishing the journal Cultural Relics in Yunnan and collecting various kinds of books and journals and information.
