　　Gansu Provincial Museum, located in the city of Lanzhou, is a provincial museum. It has three permanent exhibitions- "Gansu Painted Pottery" which shows the painted potteries from Dadiwan, Yangshao, Majiayao and other Bronze Age cultures, “Civilization along the Silk Road within Gansu” which displays the refined artifacts that reflect the culture of the ancient Silk Road, and "Paleontological Fossils of Gansu" which exhibits many paleontological fossils excavated in Gansu with information on the evolutionary history of life on the Earth.
