　　Zhejiang Museum was founded in 1929, formerly known as the "Zhejiang Provincial Museum in West Lake". It is the largest museum in Zhejiang province and consists of collection, display and research, possessing collection of more than one hundred thousand pieces. In 1993 the new construction of the museum covers an area of 20,400 square meters (building area 7,360 square meters), celadon pavilion, painting pavilion, coin pavilion, pavilion of Lv Xiaguang's work, Chang Shuhong pavilion of art, pavilion of Ming and Qing furniture, etc.The construction is characterized by single building of Jiangnan style and intricate combination of corridor, formed a unique pattern of "garden in museum, museum in garden".
