　　仰韶文化，其年代約為公元前5000年-前3000年，屬于新石器時(shí)代的文化。其分布在以黃河支流匯集的中原地區(qū)及周邊范圍。仰韶文化是一個(gè)以農(nóng)業(yè)為主的文化，其特征是，生產(chǎn)工具以發(fā)達(dá)的磨制石器為主，骨器也相當(dāng)精致;紅陶器上常有彩繪的幾何形圖案或動(dòng)物形花紋，是仰韶文化的最明顯特征，故也稱彩陶文化。

　　The Yangshao culture (5000 BC – 3000 BC) falls within the time frame of the New Stone Age. The culture is distributed throughout the central regions and peripheral areas where the tributaries of the Yellor River converge. The Yangshao culture is mainly an agricultural one that features production tools with advanced polishing techniques that produce exquisite stone ware. The colors, geometric and animal-shaped patterns are the most striking characteristics of the Yangshao culture. That is why the Yangshao culture is often called the Color Pottery culture.
