　　Qian Mountain, lying 20km to the southeast of Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is a renowned site for both Taoist and Buddhist devotees. Thus, Qian Mountain music can be classified as both Buddhist and Taoist music. Qian Mountain Buddhist music gradually formed and developed as the temples on the mountain held various Buddhist ceremonies, and can be grouped into chanting music and instrumental music. The Taoist music combines a flowing melody and a strong religious quality, and has been passed down for hundreds of years. Qian Mountain temple music was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2006.
