　　白字戲是用廣東海豐、陸豐方言演唱的地方劇種，元末明初從閩南流入海陸豐等粵東地區(qū)，后逐步形成自己的風(fēng)格特點(diǎn)。唱腔結(jié)構(gòu)以曲牌聯(lián)套體為主，也有部分板式唱腔;唱曲多用“啊咿噯”襯詞拉腔，音樂優(yōu)美，有聯(lián)曲、滾唱、一唱眾和等形式和特點(diǎn)。2006年，白字戲被列入第一批國家級(jí)非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)名錄。

　　Baizi Opera is a type of local opera performed in the Haifeng and Lufeng dialects in Guangdong Province. It firstly spread to the east Guangdong area (like Haifeng and Lufeng) from south Fujian Province and then gradually formed its own style. Its singing structure is mainly based on a series of tunes from the same category, and also partly based on rhythm forms. In the performance, the lining word "Ayiai" is frequently used to prolong the tune, accompanied by a beautiful melody. Additionally, the performance features music suites, colloquial tunes, and one singing with others in chorus. In 2006, Baizi Opera was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
