　　守時的意思是遵守規(guī)定的或約定的時間。一個人每天早晨都六點鐘起床是守時的。一個人承諾了要在下午五點鐘給朋友打電話，實際上他在那個時間也這么做了，那么他也是守時的。

　　另一方面，不守時的人，從來不會在合適的時間做他應(yīng)該去做的事。他總是埋怨沒時間準(zhǔn)時地回信、回電話或遵守約定。

　　毫無疑問，不守時是有壞處的。比平時晚五分鐘起床通常會擾亂一天的計劃。給朋友打電話比約定時間晚了五分鐘可能會給雙方帶來意外的麻煩。不能做到守時是對他人不尊重的標(biāo)志。如果一個人受邀去吃飯，卻比預(yù)期的時間晚到了，他讓主人和其他所有的客人都在等他一個人。這是非常不禮貌的。此外，習(xí)慣性地不守時會導(dǎo)致生活中的懶散甚至失敗。
