　　【辨】fundamental, elementary二者都有“基本的”之意。fundamental指“基本的，根本的”，著重于本質(zhì)根源，如：a fundamental law;elementary強(qiáng)調(diào)初級(jí)的、簡(jiǎn)單的或基本元素，如：anelementary need。

　　4.analyze v.分析

　　7.coordinate v.調(diào)節(jié)，協(xié)調(diào)，統(tǒng)籌

　　【記】詞根記憶：co+ordin(秩序)+ate--使有秩序--協(xié)調(diào)

　　【例】You must coordinate your movements when dancing.

　　跳舞時(shí)動(dòng)作必須協(xié)調(diào)。

　　【用】coordinate后可接with.表示“與…協(xié)調(diào)一致”。

　　8.reflect v.反射，反映;表達(dá)，表現(xiàn);考慮，思考

　　【記】詞根記憶：re(回)+flect(彎曲)--彎曲過(guò)來(lái)--反射

　　【例】Above the trees are the hills, whose magnificence the river faithfully reflects on thesurface.

　　河面清晰地映出山上茂密的樹(shù)木。(2003)

　　The tone of the article reflected the writer's mood at the time.
