今天，中國幼兒園里的大多數(shù)孩子都是獨(dú)生子女。他們機(jī)靈、好學(xué)、想象力豐富、精力充沛，但往往以自我為中心，不守紀(jì)律，而且比較脆弱。一般來說，剛進(jìn)幼兒園的4至6歲的孩子都是以自我為中心的，但9至10歲的孩子則表現(xiàn)出自制力、不怕挫折的優(yōu)點(diǎn)。因此我們的教育強(qiáng)調(diào)集體主義(collectivism)、互助友愛，鼓勵(lì)孩子們自己照顧自己，并且教育他們與人分享的好處。

　　Today, most kids in China’s kindergartens are the only child of their family. They are clever, studious, and full of imagination and energy. However, they are usually egocentric, undisciplined and more vulnerable. Generally speaking, children aged from 4 to 6 who have just entered kindergarten are egocentric, while children aged from 9 to 10 demonstrate the quality of self-control and being not afraid of setbacks. Therefore, our education program attaches great importance to collectivism, mutual help and love. Children are encouraged to look after themselves and are taught the benefits of sharing with others.
