　　The Minimum Protective Purchasing Price Policy, as a form of government guidance pricing, is the minimum goods purchase price specified by the government to prevent a slump in the price of certain goods and to protect the interests of producers. China’s implementation of the minimum protective price is to improve the irrational price relationship of industrial and agricultural products, reduce the "scissors difference" price of the industrial and agricultural commodity exchanges, promote the development of agricultural production, guarantee peasants' interests and enhance their production enthusiasm.
