　　The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect, short for Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Market Connect System, refers to cross-border investment channel which connects Shenzhen Securities Exchange with Hong Kong Joint Exchange Co., Ltd. to enable the investors in the mainland and Hong Kong to trade through the local securities companies or the other party’s securities exchange within the scope regulated for the transactions of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong stock exchanges. Shenzhen and Hong Kong are adjacent to each other and enjoy very close links in capital flow, information flow and investment philosophy. It is expected that once introduced, the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect will greatly facilitate the development of the two regions.
