　　History of the Later Tang Dynasty, is a biographic history of dynasties and one of the "24 dynastic histories" compiled by Ouyang Xiu, et. al. in the Northern Song Dynasty and finished in the 5th year of Jiayou (1060) with 225 volumes totally. It records a history of about 290 years of the Tang Dynasty, with the records on many kinds of calendars such as Jiazi Calendar and Dayan Calendar. It is precious data to study Chinese history and one of the basic books to study Chang’an in the Tang Dynasty.
