　　土地改革是中國人民在中國共產黨領導下，徹底鏟除封建剝削制度的一場深刻的社會革命，是中國民主革命的一項基本任務。歷史上的土地改革一共進行過6次;前四次發(fā)生在解放前，也稱為“土地革命”，主要目的是達到“耕者有其田”的目的。新中國成立后的土地改革，首先在全國范圍內消滅了封建土地所有制度，確立了農民土地所有制。最后一次土地改革是1978年的“家庭聯(lián)產承包責任制”。

　　Carried out by Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, land reform served as a profound social revolution to uproot the exploitative feudal system. Land reform was also a basic mission of China’s democratic revolution. In total, there have been six land reforms. The first four, referred to as “l(fā)and revolutions” happened before liberation and was aimed at achieving “individual ownership by those who work the land.” During the land reform that followed the founding of the People’s Republic of China, land was transferred to peasant ownership therefore for the first time eliminating feudal land ownership across the entire nation. The last land reform came in the form of the Household Contract Responsibility System in 1978.
