　　伯克制度是中國(guó)清末以前新疆回部實(shí)行的官制，主要通行于維吾爾、柯爾克孜、塔吉克等族地區(qū)。明清時(shí)期，西域天山南路的世俗官僚稱為伯克，中亞一些城市的統(tǒng)治者也自稱伯克。清光緒十年(1884年)新疆建省，清廷下諭廢除各級(jí)伯克，新疆全境實(shí)行與內(nèi)地相同的官僚體制。

　　The Burke System is the bureaucratic system that was enforced in Xinjiang, particularly in areas south of Tianshan mountains where the Uyghur, Kirgiz, and Tajikistan ethnic groups lived. In the Ming and Qing dynasties, the officials of these areas and rulers of some Middle Asian cities were known as Burke. In 1884, Xinjiang province was established and the Qing Government abolished the Burke System and began enforcing the bureaucratic system used inland.
