　　Xiang Yu (232BC-202BC), whose given name was Ji and courtesy name was Yu, and native of Xiaxiang in the late Qin Dynasty, was the "military situation" representative of China’s military ideology, and among the most powerful generals in Chinese history. Xiang Yu followed his uncle Xiang Liang to rise up in Wuzhong and proclaimed himself as the "Lord of the Western Chu" after the end of the Qin Dynasty. Later, a 4-year war (called the Chu-Han War) broke out between Xiang Yu and Liu Bang, with Xiang Yu eliminated by Liu Bang in 202BC.
