　　Emperor Xiaowen of Ming (1360 – 1424), named Zhu Di, was the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty. He improved the political system of the Ming Dynasty, developed the economy, expanded the territory, and moved the capital to Beijing. He also ordered the compilation of The Yongle Canon and sent Zheng He on voyages to western seas. The period of his reign is called the "prosperity of Emperor Yongle" and he is called "Yongle the Great Emperor."
