　　Legend has it that the Yellow Emperor is the first leader of the tribal alliance of the Chinese people, common leader of the Chinese people in ancient China, and is known as the "first ancestor of humanity" in China. It is said that he was surnamed Gong Sun and renamed Ji as the family name, so he was known as Ji Xuanyuan. According to historical records, since he had the auspiciusness of land virtue, he was called the Yellow Emperor. His great feats including the unification of the Chinese tribes, and the conquest of the eastern ethnic minorities and the Jiuli People, were written into the annals of history. During his reign, the Yellow Emperor focused on agricultural production, and began to make clothes and hats, built carts and boats, made phonetic law and founded medicine.
