　　Tibetan Naqu cordyceps sinensis, or Naqu Cordyceps for short, is a Chinese herbal medicine and a geographical indication protected product. It grows at an altitude of 4,500 to 6,000 meters in Qiang Tang Prairie of Tibet’s Naqu district featuring strong ultraviolet and large temperature difference between day and night. Naqu Cordyceps enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad for its strong physiological properties, high medicinal value and large size. It is featured by bright yellow appearance and translucent shining body and tail with a strong smell of yak butter.
