　　Li Xinggang is a famous architect, working as associate chief architect at China Architecture Design and Research Group. He has been engaged in architectural design ever since he graduated from the Tianjin University Department of Architecture in 1991, and won more than 20 national and international awards including THE CHICAGO ATHENUM International Architecture Awards, China Architecture Art Awards, and Finalist of World Architecture Awards of UK. Moreover, he was the chief Chinese designer for China's National Stadium (also known as the "Bird's Nest"), the main stadium for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
