　　延安革命紀(jì)念館始建于1950年1月，原館址在南關(guān)交際處，是人民共和國(guó)成立后最早建立的革命紀(jì)念館之一。1954年遷往楊家?guī)X原中共中央機(jī)關(guān)舊址，定名為“延安博物館”。1955年遷至城內(nèi)鳳凰山麓革命舊址院內(nèi)，改名為“延安革命紀(jì)念館”，1973年6月遷往王家坪現(xiàn)址。展館正門(mén)上方懸掛著紅色匾牌，上有郭沫若1971年來(lái)延參觀時(shí)題寫(xiě)的館名。

　　Yan’an Revolutionary Memorial Hall, built in January 1950 with Nanguan Exchange Department as the former site, is one of the earliest revolutionary memorial halls after the founding of the P.R.C. In 1954, it was moved to the former site of the central committee of the CPC in Yangjialing and named "Yan’an Museum". In 1955, it was moved to the former revolutionary site at the foot of the Fenghuang Mountain and renamed “Yan’an Revolutionary Memorial Hall”, and moved to the current site in Yangjiaping in June 1973. The upper part of the front gate is hung the red plaque, reading the name of the hall inscribed by Guo Moruo on his visit to Yan’an in 1971.
