　　目連戲原名弋陽腔，發(fā)源于弋陽江地區(qū)，曾流傳于江西、安徽、江蘇、浙江等省，是我國唯一的歷史宗教戲。是保存于民俗活動中的戲曲演出，因主要扮演目連救母的故事而得名。其集戲曲、舞蹈、雜技、武術(shù)于一身，由于深藏民間，至今仍保留粗獷、原始的本來面目。2006年，目連戲被列入第一批國家級非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)名錄。

　　Mulian Opera

　　Mulian Opera, originally called Yiyang Opera, originated in the riverside area of Yiyang and was ever popular in Jiangxi, Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces. It is the only historical religious opera existing in China. This opera is performed for folk activities, and is so named because it mainly performs the story of Mulian saving his mother. Its performance incorporates traditional opera, dancing, acrobatics and martial arts, and still keeps its rustic and primitive nature. In 2006, Mulian Opera was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
