　　盾牌舞是江西省的漢族民俗舞蹈，新盾牌舞源于古代軍中的盾牌戰(zhàn)術。集武術、雜技、舞蹈與音樂為一體，劇情內容較簡單，主要表演為兩軍對壘破陣，相互攻守，但陣勢變幻莫測。主要流傳于江西省永新的龍源口、煙閣等南片諸鄉(xiāng)。2006年，永新盾牌舞被列入第一批 國家級非物質文化遺產名錄。

　　Shield dancing is a type of folk dance in Jiangxi Province. Yongxin shield dancing originated from militant shield combat in ancient times. Combining martial arts, acrobatics, dance, and music into one art form, the shield dancing portrays simple stories where two armies fight against each other, each trying to break the formation of the other side while defending their own. However, the types of formation are enormously varied and complicated. The shield dancing is mainly practised in Longyuankou, Yange, and other southern regions of Yongxin, in Jiangxi Province. Yongxin shield dancing was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2006.
