　　烏鎮(zhèn)隸屬浙江省嘉興市桐鄉(xiāng)市，西臨湖州市，北界江蘇蘇州市吳江區(qū)，地處江南水鄉(xiāng)。烏鎮(zhèn)是典型的中國江南地區(qū)水鄉(xiāng)古鎮(zhèn)，有“魚米之鄉(xiāng)，絲綢之府”之稱。烏鎮(zhèn)具有六千余年悠久歷史，是全國二十個黃金周預(yù)報景點(diǎn)及江南六大古鎮(zhèn)之一。1991年被評為浙江省歷史文化名城，1999年開始古鎮(zhèn)保護(hù)和旅游開發(fā)工程。烏鎮(zhèn)隸屬桐鄉(xiāng)市地處東南沿海，屬典型的亞熱帶季風(fēng)氣候。冬暖濕潤，四季分明，雨水豐沛，日照充足。具有春濕、夏熱、秋燥、冬冷的氣候特點(diǎn)。

The Wuzhen Township is a typical ancient water township in the Jiangnan Area in China, known as the “l(fā)and of honey and milk and the home of silk”. With a profound history of over 6,000 years, it is one of the 20 top scenic spots for national holidays in China and one of the six major ancient townships in the Jiangnan Area. In 1991, it was rated as a famous historical and cultural city of Zhejiang Province and in 1999, it began its project for the protection and tourism development of the ancient town. Located in the coastal area in the southeast and under the jurisdiction of Tongxiang City, it enjoys a typical subtropical monsoon climate featured by warm and wet winter, distinguished four seasons, abundant rainfall and sunshine, which yields a briefly wet spring, hot summer, dry autumn and cold winter.
