　　Yesanpo is located in Laishui County, Baoding City to the west of Beijing and in northwestern Hebei Province in the junction of the two major mountain ranges in Northern China (the Taihang Mountain Range and the Yanshan Mountain Range). It is featured by complete historical relics and remains, clear unconformities of various kinds, complete series of various kinds of rock remains such as intrusive rock, volcanic rock, sedimentary rock and metamorphic rock, prominent structural remains such as the abnormally developed structural divisional planes, faults and folds, and rich and colorful landform remains such as plantation surface and river terrace.
