道教(Taoism)是中國土生土長的宗教，已經(jīng)影響了中國人兩千多年。道教有三個起源，最古老的是“黃帝”(Yellow Emperor)傳說。第二個來源是莊子的作品。但最著名的是老子的《道德經(jīng)》。道家強調(diào)自由、自然、修身養(yǎng)性(self-cultivation)，甚至追求永生(immortality)。道教對中國文化的許多領(lǐng)域都產(chǎn)生了深刻而持久的影響，包括藝術(shù)、哲學、醫(yī)學和美食，并在東亞地區(qū)廣泛流傳。
