　　身邊有一些極度離不開工作的朋友，哪怕休假期間也要時(shí)常與公司同事聯(lián)系，定期查閱工作郵件，遇到緊急狀況可能還要中斷休假回公司解決問題。這樣不停被工作打擾的假期其實(shí)都不能算假期了，這只能被稱為fake-ation。

　　Fake-ation is a vacation where a significant amountof time is spent reading email and performing otherwork-related tasks, also spelled as fakeation orfakation.

　　Fake-ation指休假期間大部分時(shí)間都用來查閱電子郵件及完成與工作相關(guān)的任務(wù)，可稱之為“不像假期的假期”。另外，這個(gè)詞也可拼寫為fakeation 或fakation。

　　It's a fake vacation. You stay connected and though you're not in the office, you still do all thethings you'd normally do if you were at your desk and in your office.

　　這其實(shí)就不能算是假期。你時(shí)刻與單位保持聯(lián)系，雖然你不在辦公室，但你仍然在做那些你平時(shí)在辦公室做的那些事情。

　　The word fake-ation has as many meanings as it does spellings:

　　1. Calling in sick when you're healthy.

　　2. A miserable or problem-filled vacation.

　　3. A pretend vacation where you stay at home but take steps to make it appear as so youwent away (e.g., applying tanning cream).

　　Fake-ation還有其他幾個(gè)意思：

　　1. 沒生病卻打電話請病假。

　　2. 過了一個(gè)麻煩不斷的悲催假期。

　　3. 一直待在家，卻用一些手段表現(xiàn)出你曾出去度假的樣子(比如，在身上涂美黑霜)。
