　　寒夜不耐西風(fēng)勁，

　　多情卻是無情病。

　　月痕依約到南樓，

　　摟頭鼓角三更盡。

　　蟬殘韻咽魂難定，

　　百般煩惱千般恨。

　　起來點(diǎn)檢露華深，

　　秋蛩四壁聲相竟。

　　Autumn Night

　　The night is cold, I cannot bear the keen west wind;

　　The passionate one has become a victim of insentience.

　　The moon’s tracks move faintly to the south tower,

　　Where the drums and bugles have stopped at midnight.

　　The cicadas are dying, their tunes muffled my soul cannot be stilled

　　Amid a hundred torments and a thousand regrets.

　　I rise to examine the deepening dew-florets,

　　While along the four walls autumn crickets compete in shrieking.
