China has approved three domestic COVID-19 vaccines for emergency use in children aged 3 to 11.Two inactivated vaccines developed by Sinopharm and one inactivated vaccine created by Sinovac Biotech have been cleared for emergency use in people aged 3 to 11.

目前國藥中生北京所、武漢所，科興中維的新冠滅活疫苗已經(jīng)獲準(zhǔn)在 3 至 11 歲人群中開展緊急使用。根據(jù)科研攻關(guān)組疫苗研發(fā)專班專家論證意見，新冠病毒滅活疫苗在 3—11 歲人群中的安全性和免疫原性，與 18 歲以上人群沒有顯著性差異(inactivated COVID-19 vaccines are as safe and effective among people aged 3 to 11 as they are in people aged over 18)。國務(wù)院聯(lián)防聯(lián)控機(jī)制根據(jù)相關(guān)工作進(jìn)展，綜合考慮我國疫苗生產(chǎn)能力、接種能力、臨床試驗(yàn)情況和防控工作實(shí)際，進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)大了接種范圍(authorities have taken manufacturing and inoculation capacity, clinical trial results and epidemic situation into consideration, and decided to further expand its immunization campaign)，將疫苗接種目標(biāo)人群由 12 歲以上調(diào)整至 3 歲以上。

我們將繼續(xù)按照知情、同意、自愿的原則(abide by the principles of voluntary participation and informed consent)，積極引導(dǎo) 3 至 11 歲無禁忌人群應(yīng)接盡接，力爭 12 月底前完成全程接種(aim to vaccinate all eligible children by this year's end)。同時(shí)，要求接種點(diǎn)有兒科急診急救人員，還有

兒童急救藥品保障。截至 10 月 29 日，已經(jīng)接種 353 萬劑次( 3.53 million doses had been delivered to the age group)。

談及兒童接種新冠病毒疫苗的必要性，中國疾控中心免疫規(guī)劃首 席專家在會(huì)上指出，過去認(rèn)為，兒童新冠肺炎發(fā)病率較低，但隨著疫情的傳播和流行，現(xiàn)在兒童的發(fā)病水平和去年年底成人發(fā)病水平已經(jīng)接近或增加(incidence rates of COVID-19 in young people in some countries are rising and even nearing the rates among adults, challenging the previous perception that children are at lower risk of contracting the virus)，因此給兒童接種疫苗有其必要性。

3 歲-11 歲兒童可能還要接種其他疫苗，務(wù)必讓新冠病毒疫苗與其他疫苗接種間隔 14 天以上(since many minors also need to receive other vaccines in the national vaccination program, different vaccines should be given at least 14 days apart)。如果必須接種狂犬病疫苗、破傷風(fēng)疫苗等，可以不考慮時(shí)間間隔的要求。
