　　2000多年前，亞歐大陸上勤勞勇敢的人民，探索出多條連接亞歐非幾大文明的貿(mào)易和人文交流通路，后人將其統(tǒng)稱(chēng)為“絲綢之路”。千百年來(lái)，“和平合作、開(kāi)放包容、互學(xué)互鑒、互利共贏”的絲綢之路精神薪火相傳，推進(jìn)了人類(lèi)文明進(jìn)步，是促進(jìn)沿線各國(guó)繁榮發(fā)展的重要紐帶，是東西方交流合作的象征，是世界各國(guó)共有的歷史文化遺產(chǎn)。

　　More than two millennia ago the diligent and courageous people of Eurasia explored and opened up several routes of trade and cultural exchanges that linked the major civilizations of Asia, Europe and Africa, collectively called the Silk Road by later generations. For thousands of years, the Silk Road Spirit - "peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefit" - has been passed from generation to generation, promoted the progress of human civilization, and contributed greatly to the prosperity and development of the countries along the Silk Road. Symbolizing communication and cooperation between the East and the West, the Silk Road Spirit is a historic and cultural heritage shared by all countries around the world.

　　進(jìn)入21世紀(jì)，在以和平、發(fā)展、合作、共贏為主題的新時(shí)代，面對(duì)復(fù)蘇乏力的全球經(jīng)濟(jì)形勢(shì)，紛繁復(fù)雜的國(guó)際和地區(qū)局面，傳承和弘揚(yáng)絲綢之路精神更顯重要和珍貴。In the 21st century, a new era marked by the theme of peace, development, cooperation and mutual benefit, it is all the more important for us to carry on the Silk Road Spirit in face of the weak recovery of the global economy, and complex international and regional situations.

　　“一帶一路”建設(shè)是一項(xiàng)系統(tǒng)工程，要堅(jiān)持共商、共建、共享原則，積極推進(jìn)沿線國(guó)家發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略的相互對(duì)接。為推進(jìn)實(shí)施“一帶一路”重大倡議，讓古絲綢之路煥發(fā)新的生機(jī)活力，以新的形式使亞歐非各國(guó)聯(lián)系更加緊密，互利合作邁向新的歷史高度，中國(guó)政府特制定并發(fā)布《推動(dòng)共建絲綢之路經(jīng)濟(jì)帶和21世紀(jì)海上絲綢之路的愿景與行動(dòng)》。The Belt and Road Initiative is a systematic project, which should be jointly built through consultation to meet the interests of all, and efforts should be made to integrate the development strategies of the countries along the Belt and Road. The Chinese government has drafted and published the Vision and Actions on Jointly Building Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road to promote the implementation of the Initiative, instill vigor and vitality into the ancient Silk Road, connect Asian, European and African countries more closely and promote mutually beneficial cooperation to a new high and in new forms.

　　共建“一帶一路”致力于亞歐非大陸及附近海洋的互聯(lián)互通，建立和加強(qiáng)沿線各國(guó)互聯(lián)互通伙伴關(guān)系，構(gòu)建全方位、多層次、復(fù)合型的互聯(lián)互通網(wǎng)絡(luò)，實(shí)現(xiàn)沿線各國(guó)多元、自主、平衡、可持續(xù)的發(fā)展�！耙粠б宦贰钡幕ヂ�(lián)互通項(xiàng)目將推動(dòng)沿線各國(guó)發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略的對(duì)接與耦合，發(fā)掘區(qū)域內(nèi)市場(chǎng)的潛力，促進(jìn)投資和消費(fèi)，創(chuàng)造需求和就業(yè)，增進(jìn)沿線各國(guó)人民的人文交流與文明互鑒，讓各國(guó)人民相逢相知、互信互敬，共享和諧、安寧、富裕的生活。

　　The Belt and Road Initiative aims to promote the connectivity of Asian, European and African continents and their adjacent seas, establish and strengthen partnerships among the countries along the Belt and Road, set up all-dimensional, multitiered and composite connectivity networks, and realize diversified, independent, balanced and sustainable development in these countries. The connectivity projects of the Initiative will help align and coordinate the development strategies of the countries along the Belt and Road, tap market potential in this region, promote investment and consumption, create demands and job opportunities, enhance people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and mutual learning among the peoples of the relevant countries, and enable them to understand, trust and respect each other and live in harmony, peace and prosperity.
