Growing up

在我長(zhǎng)大的過程中

I’ve always been very independent.

I’ve never asked for my parents for money or help,

and I’ve always lived a pretty secluded life from them.

I moved out at 17,

17歲的時(shí)候我就從家里搬出來了

went to university,

and dropped out in my third year.

I married my long term boyfriend,...

we had a daughter,

I go back to school a second time.

These last two years have been HARD.

But we’re trekking on.

I’m happier now than I was.

Money is extremely tight,

but we are managing.

I was speaking to my dad

He says he is proud of me

and the way I’ve moved through life so far.

I’ve been raising my daughter

for doing a good job raising my daughter.

And to be told that

living independently is a good thing.

I often feel guilty

現(xiàn)在我時(shí)常感到愧疚

for not being very open with my parents.
