　　合作與交流應(yīng)當(dāng)是雙向的。我認(rèn)為，我們應(yīng)當(dāng)處理好競(jìng)爭(zhēng)與合作的關(guān)系。合作比競(jìng)爭(zhēng)更為有利。

　　然而，我們注意到中國(guó)對(duì)海外的報(bào)道與西方媒體對(duì)中國(guó)的報(bào)道，兩者之間存在明顯的失衡。

　　在中國(guó)，人們能夠觀看有關(guān)國(guó)外的各種報(bào)道，而在西方國(guó)家，人們很少看到正面報(bào)道關(guān)于中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展和社會(huì)進(jìn)步方面的節(jié)目。

　　我認(rèn)為產(chǎn)生這一現(xiàn)象有多種原因。但是我相信，通過加強(qiáng)合作與交流，這種不平衡的狀況終將得到改變。

　　Cooperation and communication should be mutual. I think we should do well with the relationship between competition and cooperation. Actually, cooperation is more beneficial to us than competition.

　　However, (as we have noticed/ as we were aware,) there is a marked imbalance between China’s report on foreign countries and the reports on China by western media.

　　In China, people can watch different programs about foreign countries. But you can find very few positive programs about China’s economic development and social progress in western countries.

　　I think that there are many reasons for this phenomenon. But I believe that enhanced cooperation and exchanges can eventually change this unbalanced situation.
