  抱怨索賠函 (Complaint and Claim)

  在貿(mào)易活動(dòng)中,買賣雙方因一方未履行所達(dá)成協(xié)議致使另一方蒙受損失,或者人們對(duì)購(gòu)得的商品或得到的服務(wù)不滿意時(shí),可以向?qū)Ψ奖г够蛱岢鏊髻r,以求問題得到盡快、妥善的解決。撰寫此類信函時(shí)應(yīng)注意:

  1) 直截了當(dāng)提出原定的條件,列舉不滿事實(shí)、理由以及造成的后果。

  2) 明確提出解決的方法。

  3) 語言有禮有節(jié),語氣堅(jiān)決誠(chéng)懇。

  實(shí)例

  Letter of Complaint

Dear Sirs,

 

The shipment of 850 copies of exam paper we ordered for delivery on 20 Jan. 2003 did not arrive until the morning of 22 Jan. (Only 2 hours before the exam.) It should have been sent to us 2 days before. Besides, too many typing errors were found here and there in the paper.

The job is by no means satisfactory to us:

1) The late delivery is inexcusable, since we have made it very clear when we wanted the paper in hand. Our teaching staff were found in a tight corner—the exam was to be held on time but we had not got the paper on time.

2) The typing suggests that the job was done at the last minute and so carelessly without prudent time to check. We have here enclosed a copy with all the errors underlined. Since your typing and printing job and your delayed delivery don't meet our professional expectation, we are writing to inform you that we have to lodge a claim by suggesting that you make us an allowance of 20% on the invoice cost. Please call Miss Spring at extension 2123, if this request presents any problem to you. We look forward to your cooperation on this matter.

  6.1. We have duly received the goods of your shipment, but unfortunately they are not in accordance with the sample.

  6.6. ...(be) below standard in quality... ……質(zhì)量未達(dá)標(biāo)。

  6.7. ...we require a full refund for the delivery.

  ……我方要求對(duì)發(fā)貨全額賠償。

  6.8. In support of our claim, we are sending you a survey report issued by the Commodity Inspection Bureau.

  為了說明我方索賠理由,現(xiàn)寄上商檢局的檢驗(yàn)報(bào)告。

  6.9. We are looking forward to your settlement at an early date.

  希望貴方早日解決這一問題。
